Director of Concessions reports to senior management. Ability to supervise and manage up to 150 Points of Sale in sports environment, implement new food concepts, bar concepts, manage inventories and distribution of merchandise, oversee hiring and training of seasonal staff, create action plans for special events, supervise the setup and sanitation of concession stands and mixed drink bars are required experience. College degree in Hospitality and/or business is preferred. Minimum of 2 years concession operation management at a large attendance facility is required. This is a large attendance racetrack operating year-around with huge peaks and valleys of customers and staff levels. Ability to plan and execute efficient operations, coordinate with culinary department appropriate levels of product preparation, select and stock cups, containers and other concession supplies is required. Candidate must be able to work some nights and many weekends and holidays and be in condition to walk many miles and climb many stairs.
