Four new members added to NAC Board
Chicago (September 5, 2002) - The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC)
Board of Directors announced the addition of four new members to the board at
the Annual Membership Meeting held on June 19, 2002 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The four new members of the NAC board are Gina Troutman DiSanto, Randy Martin,
Michael Thompson, and Chris Verros.
Gina Troutman DiSanto, CCM, is vice president of concessions and marketing
for Cinema Centers in Millersburg, Penn. DiSanto has worked at the family-owned
Cinema Centers through grade school, high school and college and is a second
generation exhibitor. She is involved in all aspects of theatre concessions
including stand design, equipment, products and pricing. She is also involved
in the National Association of Theatre Owners of Pennsylvania. She is serving
on the NAC Board as a Regional Vice President.
Randy Martin is trade relations director for Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee,
Wis., where he has been employed for 32 years. His primary duties include working
with retail trade associations, developing entertainment programs for Miller's
national account customers, and managing trade show participation for major
retail conventions. Martin has also served on boards and committees of the National
Restaurant Association, the National Association of Convenience Stores and the
Food Marketing Institute Trade Advisors Board. He will serve on the public affairs
committee on the NAC Board.
Michael Thompson is senior vice president of sports and entertainment at Aramark
in Philadelphia, Penn. Thompson began with Aramark in 2001, previously serving
as president of Sportservice Corporation. Thompson is responsible for developing
sales efforts for the Sports & Entertainment Division which operates concessions,
premium dining and retail operations at over 100 sports and entertainment venues,
including stadiums, arenas, racetracks and amphitheaters. He will serve on the
marketing/membership committee on the NAC Board.
Chris Verros is group president of Fine Host Corporation located in Greenwich,
Conn. He will serve in the marketing/membership committee on the NAC Board.
