"We had been advertising in most of the trades on and off for the past year with the first national ad appearing in November 1998. We had our first viable candidates from NAC Online within two weeks of our posting’s appearance," says Sherrill. "Needless to say, we are convinced of its effectiveness and heartily recommend our membership to take advantage of this tool."
Found at www.NAConline.org, postings can be submitted to the NAC office in minutes, with requests processed within the day. For only $50 for members or $100 for nonmembers per month, operators can effectively reach the audience that can fill their job openings.
"I only wish we could [have done this] in November 1998 and saved all those costly and ineffective advertising dollars spent in the print media," says Sherrill. He says the key to the site is its visibility to the specific concessions industry.
