Annual NAC event changes name

There's a new name to a popular event at the National Association of Concessionaires. The event previously known as Snack Bar University/EXPO will now be called the National Association of Concessionaires' Annual Convention & Trade Show.

The change in name reflects an emphasis in identifying the association and purpose of the event. Over the years there had been some confusion over the name, particularly when the Concession Manager Certification Course began being held just prior to Snack Bar University.

"People who didn't know the reason for the event were confused about the difference between "Snack Bar University" and the "Concession Manager Certification Course", states NAC President Skip Stefansen of Liberto Management, San Antonio, Tex. "Since the 'University' part implied an educational course, many people didn't understand the difference."
