Each year, NAC holds a Silent Auction as part of its opening event at the
NAC Annual Convention. The Auction is organized by volunteers, and proceeds from the Silent Auction benefit NAC educational programming, such as the Concession Manager and Executive Concession Manager programs; the Regional Seminar Series; concessions-specific Food Safety Certification; The NAC Online Training Center, Annual Convention programming, and the new NAC President's Convention Scholarship Program. The proceeds help the association to keep registration fees reasonable for our members and the industry at large.
The 2010 NAC Silent Auction will take place Saturday evening, July 24 at the
Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston, following the opening of the NAC/IAAM Combined
Trade Show.
Silent Auction committee members are soliciting donations of items for the
auction with a value of $50 or above, such as sports or movie memorabilia;
gift baskets; movie studio gifts; sports tickets or passes; movie theatre passes;
travel gifts; airline tickets; live performance tickets or packages; and collectibles,
among other items.
